Where: Schoolcraft High School Theater, 551 E Lyons St, Schoolcraft, MI 49087

Tickets: Tickets are $8.00 (cash only) the day of the show. Online Ticket sales will be available until the end of the day, Friday, June 9th. Tickets for children 5 and under are free. All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. Ticket sales cover the remaining costs of the theater rental and fees. Backstage parent volunteers do not need to purchase a ticket and will be able to sit in the front row to watch their child perform.

Parent Volunteers: We can not have the show with out the help of our fantastic volunteers. Parent Volunteers help in the dressing room keeping track of their child’s class and escorting them backstage and back to the dressing room. You will still get to see your child perform from reserved seats in the front row and you will not have to purchase a ticket. Your help would be greatly appreciated! Video and Flash Photograph will NOT be permitted in the regular seating.  It is distracting to both the performers and the other audience members. We will have a section in the back behind general seating where you may video. Immediately after the show, we will have the dance sets on the stage so you may take photos of your child.

Dress Rehearsal: Dress rehearsal will take place in the theater after the students check in, before the performance. Children are to come ready for show, in costume.

Performance: The show will be approximately 30 minutes.  There are no snacks or beverages allowed backstage. Please do not bring any extra clothing items. Jump Into Motion Dance Academy will not be responsible for any lost items. The theater will be opened to the audience approximately 15 minutes before the show. Seating is first come first serve. Please be polite to others with seating; blocking off of seats will not be permitted. Children will stay backstage throughout the show. This is for your child’s safety and for the courtesy of the performers. At the end of the show, we will dismiss dancers one class at a time to ensure every child can easily find their parents.

Shoes: Shoes are NOT provided as part of the costume. Please see your class page for what shoes to wear with your child’s costume.

Costumes: Please see your child’s school page, under class schedules, for the picture of their costume.  Costumes will be arriving in Mid-May. We order great costumes from specialized dance costume companies while keeping the prices affordable. The costume fee is $45.00 per child (this will include tights unless the costume has pants or otherwise specified). A picture of your child’s costume will be posted at your school or day care and for all classes, and on your location’s webpage on our site.   All fees are due on January 13, 2017. If they are received after this date, late fees will be applied as well as additional shipping fees and we can not guarantee the costume companies will be able to provide a costume in time. All late registration will have a minimum $10.00 late fee and may also have additional shipping fees.  Your child’s teacher will measure them in late December and early January. We will use these measurements to determine the size of your child’s costume. If they are close to another size, we will contact you and ask what size you would prefer to order. There are no returns, refunds, or exchanges on costumes.

Costume Fee: $45 for girls, $25 for boys (Girls costume will include tights. Most boys costumes are just the top to keep costs down for you. See the page for your school to see what is included and what you will need to provide). Family discount, $80.00 for 2 girls. DUE NO LATER THAN JANUARY 13, 2017, non-refundable.

Recital Fee: $40 per child (this fee covers the cost of the theater rental, janitorial staff, light and sound technicians, programs, and other show planning expenses). Family discount, $70 for 2 children. DUE NO LATER THAN FEBRUARY 10, 2017, non-refundable.
